They just reopened a pretty cool park in Cluj-Napoca. It was a cool park before and less crowded, but now they did it more for the PR around a nearby mall. So, I thought I’d give it a try and see how it goes. So far so good, although they should have taken care of the whole area surrounding the lake.
As you might figure from one of the pics, there is a slight attempt at recreating the Jet d’Eau from Geneva Lake, yet it’s a failure since this water jet barely reaches some 5 to 6 m while the authentic Jet d’Eau reaches some 140 m. Well, the lake is more of a pond so, I think it’s as good as it gets.
I think it looks like a nice place to getaway too. Autumn? Its too green to be autumn. ~thanks for sharing
Thank you, it does look nice. Yes, autumn already, actually we’re having our last sunny days over here, so we’re enjoying it 🙂
The place reminds me of my favorite places in Texas and South Carolina…funny to me how much alike it could be from across the Pond. It’s a small world that looks remarkably the same.
You’ll definitely feel at home if you drop by 🙂
Nice pictures. I never stayed in Cluj-Napoca. I was always driving through the city and never stop.
Oh, really? Well next time you should stop, there are some places worth the stop, the city changed a lot during the last years, best time to do is either spring or autumn, not winter though 🙂
thank you.
Toamna lunga sa-ne-ajunga! Minunate fotografii!
Multumesc 🙂
Cu placere!
