Romania: Why Don’t You Come Over? (II) Campaign Moves to Free Couchsurfing

Following the Why Don’t You Come Over? Romanian media campaign addressing UK’s anxiety over the so-called Romanian immigrants influx in 2014, Romanians have not stopped short in just inviting the Brits over to see the country (and women! – I agree that was degrading) for themselves.

Now they’re actually offering couchsurfing for free in order to convince the Brits that Romania is worth it. I personally think it’s gone too far as negative media in the UK still pours in over a false problem. So far, you have at least 300 different couches and cities to choose from.

See what this is about (of course, you need a British passport to qualify for it) and choose your couch and region in Romania over HERE.

Worth also checking on the initial post since it got the most traffic and apparently you found it interesting: Romania: Why Don’t You Come Over? (I)
